Differences Between Me & My Brother

My brother and I are totally different in one another. First of all, I am tall. My height is about six feet and two inches. Furthermore, I am a cool minded. I didn’t get angry very easily. Sometimes I can also get angry very quickly but overall, I am a cool minded person. Moreover, I am really interesting in sports. I like to play Basketball and Soccer. I also loved to watch different games on TV. My favourite team is Los Angeles Lakers in basketball and my favourite team in soccer is Manchester United.
However, my brother is alike but he is different them me in many ways. In contrast to my height, he is a little shorter. He is five feet and 8 inches. Unlike me, he gets angry very soon. He always fights with his younger brother on video games. Furthermore, he likes to play video games like Play station and X-Box. He rarely goes outside and plays basketball and soccer. This might have a very negative effect on his health.

Enjoy The Weekend

I spend the last weekend back in my cousin home. We had a fun there in his home. I went there on Friday at 2 pm. Before visiting his home, I went to Metro town in Burnaby and had a lunch there. I had a lunch in Nando’s. Then after taking the lunch, I carry my trip to his home. I reached there at 2:30 pm. On the Friday night, we had a dinner and watch a film. The next day, we went to Stanley Park and a party there. The weather was really nice on that day and we enjoyed a lot. I spent two nights in his home and returned home at 1 o’clock on Sunday.

Planning To Start a Gym

I used to go to gym when I first started with my college classes. It was really a good gym, and it was located in Vancouver. I visited for almost twenty days, but I left my workout as I was quite busy in my college assignments. The reason that I left was that I didn’t have enough time because I am a full time student at a college, and I go to college four days a week. It takes me one hour and twenty minutes in the morning to go to college and one hour and twenty minutes in the evening to go back to home, so I couldn’t find enough time for my workout. Now I am again planning to start up with my exercise. As I moved to a new apartment, so I am near to the college and it takes less than an hour to go to the college. The important thing about the new apartment is that it has a small fitness room. The fitness room consist of three different kinds of running machines and some weights etc.

The influence of Toys on Children

A Child character, personality, and behaviour building starts right away from the childhood. One can say that the things that are given to a child in his/her childhood determine his/her characters when they became an adult. For example, parents treat boys differently than girls in their childhood. Moreover, parents give different kind of toys to boys than they give to girls. Boys are given toys that evoke their male characters for example a car, a plastic gun, and a play station games. On the other hand, girls are given a kind of toys that reflect their female characters for example a baby doll etc.

However, one can say that parent’s different reaction to girls and boys are some way right, but I always wonder why they gave something that is harmful to their children and may have a negative effects on their lives when they became adults. For example, every one is familiar with the fact that most parents gave their children plastic guns. Such kind of toys can have a very negative effect on the child’s future; they might join some groups of gangs. Similarly, another point that needs parent’s attention is that they talk differently to girls than boys. Most parents talk softly to girls than boys. This action can lead to the misunderstanding of the boys. They may think that their parents love his sister more than him. In conclusion, we can say that it is the responsibility of the mother and father to treat all their children equally; to give them equal opportunity education and to love them equally.

Moving To New Apartment

I was very busy for the last three days, As I started to move from Vancouver to New Westminister, so I had alot of work to do in the last three days. First of all, I was supposed to buy a new furniture for the new apartment. We bought the furniture and other stuffs related to furniture in Bricks, Richmond. I also visited IKEA in Richmond, but I found Bricks cheaper as compared to IKEA. The specail thing about Bricks was that If one spend 1200 dollar on furniture, they get a 32 inch LCD tv free. As I also need a tv, so this was a good opportunity for me to get a tv without paying for it. Moreover, I was also suppose to shift my stuff from Vancouver to New Westiminister. It was not a really big task, but still one has to bevery carefl in shifting things from one place to other place. The one thing that I am waiting for it and I have not done it to change my addresses in college, etc. A friend of mine told me that there is another way to receive mail without chnaging the address is to inform the psot office that I am moiving out and I want to change address. So, they will post your mail to the new address rather than posting it to the new address for the first three months. In conclusion I can say that I was very upset and tired to do my college homeworks and assignment.

Differences Between The Education of The Two Countries

“Getting education is the right of everyone” are the words that people think whether they are in Canada or in Afghanistan. The difference takes place when it comes to the practical education. First of all, the schedule for a course is decided by the owner, there are no electives. Moreover, the education is totally based on memorization rather than understanding. Furthermore, students rely too much on teachers. There are no practical works like internship etc.

However, compared to the education system in Afghanistan, the education in Canada is quite different. In contrast with Afghanistan education system, colleges and universities in Canada give the opportunity to their students to take courses of their choices. They provide electives courses to their students to take courses of their own choices. Furthermore, the main difference between the educations of the two countries is that Canada education system is based on understanding. Students concentrate on getting the information rather than memorizing. Similarly, the students rather depending on the teachers do most of the assignments. There are practical works in the colleges and schools of Canada. In conclusion we can say that both provide education to their civilians but they differ in methodologies.

Joeys Tomato’s

Yesterday, I went to one of my favourite restaurants called The Joey Tomato’s. It is of my favourite restaurant I have experience in Vancouver. This restaurant is almost similar to that of Cactus Club but the only difference between the two is that the former one is like a sport bar, where people can have a dinner while enjoying a hockey game between Vancouver Canucks and Detroit. It is located, as far as I know, in Vancouver and Burnaby. I visited both location, but I like the downtown location. The downtown branch seems to be newer than Burnaby. The restaurant staffs are very polite and caring. We were five persons, so we had to order a lot of stuff. We ordered Chicken wings, Chicken Burgers, and Bombay Butter Chicken, my favourite dish. We really enjoyed the dinner as we expected. The hockey game between Vancouver Canucks and Detroit made our dinner more fruitful; although, Canucks lost in the final minute of the first extra time. The food in the restaurant is a bit expensive. As we were five, so our total bill counted up to $ 125 excluding tip.

A Crazy Fad: Dying Hair

As we know that fad is something that people used to do for a short period of time, and it disappears after some time. There are number of things that people do for very short period of time. Such kind of things are more common in music, fashion, and furniture etc , but one of the fads that is very common in these days is dying of hair, coloring of hair. From dying of color I mean that people who give colors like Pink, Green, and Red to their hairs. Although this fad is more related with girls, but I have seen some male as well who gives different kinds of colours to their hairs. I always dislike those people who give unusual colors to their hairs. This hatred was worsened during the Vancouver Olympic Games. During these games, I came across number of people in Vancouver, especially in downtown Vancouver, who had used unusual and strange color for their hairs. For example, I saw a boy in the downtown Vancouver at the final day of the Olympic Games who hairs were pink and red in colour instead of black or brown. Similarly another boy made a Canadian flag on his hair that makes his hairs look like red and white.

I Love Different Seasons

God created human beings with different personalities having different likes and dislikes. Some people like winter season, and they would like to live in a place where there is winter all over the year. While others like summer season, and they would love to live in a place where there is summer most of the time. Others prefer to spend his/her time by enjoying all the seasons of the nature. I am one of those people who like to do BBQ in summer and skiing in winter. I love to go on campaigning with friends to spend a night under a sky in summer.

Making a Major Purchase

Shopping is one of the important activities most people love to do in free time. Some things are easy and cheap to buy for example food and clothes etc, so they do not require a thorough search. One just needs to go to the grocery shop and pick something they like the best. While other things like buying a car and a home are quite expensive and require a great deal of information and search. Making a major purchase starts with getting enough information about the product; however, one can search about the product on internet--easy and efficient way-- or one can ask from the person that already has an experience with the product or one can go directly to the owner and get information related to the product. Then after getting enough information, look up for prices. Get the prices about the products from different dealer and compare the prices. Once finished with getting the prices, go for the actual purchase. Try to negotiate with the owner of the product if the price is negotiable. Buy the product and make sure everything is fine before the final transaction.

Russian's Performance in Olympic And Moscow's Reaction

Russia is one of the many countries that has participated in Vancouver Olympic Winter games in 2010. Its performance throughout the games was not upto the expectation of its fans around the world. Russia, well known for its cold weather, used to perform good in the previous Winter Olympic games, but this time they fail to show their level of performance. They finished 11th in the medals tables after winning 15 medals -- 3 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze, in total. At the Turin Winter Olympic games in 2006, Russian was among the top five with 22 medals, including eight gold medals.
Russian's Olympic officials were held responsible by the president and prime minister of the country for the poor performance of the Olympic squad. President Medvedev put it in this way, " If they don't go of their own record, we'll happily help them on their way".
Opposition politician have also called on head of the Russian Olympic committee and sports minister of the country to resign after the devastating performance of their team in the Vancouver Olympic games.
The strict reaction of the president, prime minister, and other politicians towards the team performance was mainly because Russia will be the host country for the next Winter Olympic games in 2014.
