Differences Between The Education of The Two Countries

“Getting education is the right of everyone” are the words that people think whether they are in Canada or in Afghanistan. The difference takes place when it comes to the practical education. First of all, the schedule for a course is decided by the owner, there are no electives. Moreover, the education is totally based on memorization rather than understanding. Furthermore, students rely too much on teachers. There are no practical works like internship etc.

However, compared to the education system in Afghanistan, the education in Canada is quite different. In contrast with Afghanistan education system, colleges and universities in Canada give the opportunity to their students to take courses of their choices. They provide electives courses to their students to take courses of their own choices. Furthermore, the main difference between the educations of the two countries is that Canada education system is based on understanding. Students concentrate on getting the information rather than memorizing. Similarly, the students rather depending on the teachers do most of the assignments. There are practical works in the colleges and schools of Canada. In conclusion we can say that both provide education to their civilians but they differ in methodologies.
